Direct Steam Injection
Description
A direct steam injection system can be used to heat any water miscible liquid instantly on a continuous basis. Steam is injected into the liquid stream through hundreds of small orifices through an internal injection tube. Steam flow is broken up into small streams, maximizing surface area so that immediate absorption takes place at point of liquid contact. Steam flow is controlled by an external control valve. 100% of steam energy is absorbed into the process. Each heating system is designed around the specific process conditions.
