  • Uses thin plates with high thermal conductivity.
  • Herringbone and/or washboard patterns are the building blocks, creating channels for the flow of the media.
  • Various flow channel combinations can be achieved by changing the relationship between the patterns and the direction of flow at each layer.
  • The angles of the plate patterns and flow directions must be carefully calculated to give the desired turbulence, temperature and pressure drop. The closer the heat exchanger matches the performance requirements of the application, the more efficient and economical the solution will be.
