Inproheat Industries proudly offers Boiler Feedwater Pumps manufactured by KSB.
Boiler Feed Pumps are centrifugal pumps used to supply the necessary feed water for steam generators. The amount of water derived from the boiler feed pump is directly related to how much steam comes from the generator.
Boiler feed pumps use an average mass flow rate of 3200 tonnes/hour with the capability to go closer to 4000. Where fluid temperature is concerned, the operational range normally falls between 160 and 210 C with the possibility of handling higher temperatures under special circumstances.
The discharge pressure capabilities of each boiler feed pump have been designed by KSB to serve its design and purpose. Multi-stage boiler feed pumps for power stations will carry a bar range of up to 80 bar for each stage, whereas boiler feed pumps intended for nuclear power stations feature pressures in the bar range of 70 to 100 per stage.
KSB boiler feed pumps boast rotational speeds to 6000 rpm. This is due in part to their modern chrome steel properties, which helps to prevent seizures, corrosion, and erosion.
KSB’s boiler feed pumps can be used in steam generators like standard boilers or they can be integrated into larger-scale projects like nuclear reactors.
Other applications include: Boiler re-circulation and feed applications for power and industry, hot water supply and district heating supply, and heating installations.
