Through DuPont™ BELCO® and Shell Global Solutions, Inproheat Industries offers Third and Fourth Stage Separators (TSS and FSS) to specifically target catalyst fine emissions that are found in FCCU flue gas.
Highly effective with more than 60 applications of proven results over a 30 year period, TSS and FSS systems can be upgrades of old systems with the benefits of current technology or they can be designed as Turnkey, Material Supply, or Process Design options with an emphasis on environmental control or Turbo Expander protection.
With an equally effective regenerator cyclone, TSS and FSS systems can consistently reduce particulate emissions to a level below 50 mg/Nm3. As compared to using an Electrostatic Precipitator (ESP), the efficiency provided by TSS and FSS options makes for a more cost-effective choice.
TSS and FSS technology facilitates the separation of almost every erosive particle due to a near 2um cutpoint. This results in increased protection of power recovery expanders.
TSS/FSS designs operate within a completely contained single channel environment that promotes long-term, high temperature operation. TSS/FSS systems also act to protect power recovery units if the regenerator cyclone experiences a catastrophic failure.
