SSD Valves

An image of an SSD Schoeder valve, a multi-port step throttle device.

Overview

Inproheat is proud to offer SSD valves manufactured by Schroeder.

SSD valves are multi-port step throttle devices that are installed to pipes in order to control flow and pressure. This ensures an optimal performance of the pipe and reduce the chances of any damaging or catastrophic events from the liquids traveling through it.

Features

Specific Width Options and Steel Design

SSD valves are available to match a DN20 to DN500 width variation. They also have a stainless steel design while the housing portions can be built with customized forms of stainless steel based on the specific application.

Optimized Pressure

SSD valves can handle up to a maximum nominal pressure level of PN640.

Ideal Media Temperature Range

SSD valves are best used with pipes that contain media with a 400°C maximum temperature.

Applications

SSD valves are best-suited to applications where throttle valves represent the best solution for protecting pipes and their liquid media.
